Berliner Brandstifter Gin is filtered 7times, thus making it an extraordinarily smooth and fresh dry gin. Its distinct Berliner character is rounded off with the use of local botanicals: elderflower, mallow blossom, sweet woodruff and fresh cucumber.
The botanicals are cultivated on farmland near Berlin and handpicked before undergoing premium processing. Due to the natural restrictions induced by the harvest, production is limited to small batches of 9,999 bottles annually.
The Story …
Since 2009, native born Berliner Vincent Honrodt has been carrying forth his family´s heritage in the spirits industry. A history, which dates back to early 20th century. In the 1920’s, Honrodt’s greatgrandfather was the director of the sugar factory Vossberg, where he enthusiastically began distilling fine spirits from local grains and sugar cane.
The unparalleled taste of his creations became renowned for livening up large scale parties with family and friends. His creations are still kept alive to this day and continue to carry on their excellence through the Berliner Brandstifter spirits.
