Rested a few weeks in grand cru sauternes wine casks and cognac barrels, Excellia™ Blanco is clear with a faint of gold shade. The nose reveals cloves, tobacco and toast/brioche notes. On the palate, Excellia™ Blanco is complex with a mix of spices, vanilla, fruits and leather aromas. The finish is long on the mid-palate and presents dried spices and faint jasmine notes.
To create Excellia™, the master blender marries the two different aged tequilas and elaborates different recipes for the Blanco, Reposado and Añejo, having the same goal: the consistency of each aromatic profile.
The cognac and sauternes barrels are like music notes put together for a perfect symphony. The blend provides a perfect balance between the spiciness of the agave, the opulence of the sauternes wine and the cognac's rich rancio.
Excellia™ is the fruit of the meeting of two visionary men:
Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, founder of Maison Villevert, groundbreaking brand creator and producer (G'Vine gin and esprit de June liqueur) and Carlos Camarena, precursor and award-winning tequila master-distiller (Tapatio and El Tesoro tequilas) and at the origin of the "Extra-Añejo" category.
Sharing the same common values, the two men respect the traditions, know-hows and the culture they’re coming from while implementing their innovative vision to the spirit industry.
