Coffee is our primary and most precious ingredient.
Algebra aims to capture its character in a concentrated and stable recipe, with both finesse and intensity.
Intense enough to work in mixed drinks, balanced enough to be enjoyed neat, we believe it is the next best thing to making your own coffee extract at home.
At just 100 g per L, Algebra contains 4 times less sugar than traditional coffee liqueurs, and only half as much as most new-generation liqueur brands.
No liqueur is drier.
This lends Algebra a lighter texture, close to that of a vermouth or fortified wine.
It lets the coffee shine.
Our specialty grade beans are sustainably sourced, expertly roasted and extracted with precision.
A natural aromatic match for coffee, it rounds off Algebra’s intense espresso character with subtle vanilla notes.
At exactly 100 g per L, it lends depth and just enough sweetness to our recipe.
No flavouring • No added colour • No artificial sweetener
Algebra & Tonic
• 30 ml Algebra
• 60-100 ml Tonic Water
Method: Build over ice, stir briefly and garnish with a citrus twist.
The ratio and method for this simple highball lend themselves well to experimentation.
1. For a rich, dark and intense drink, try a 1:2 ratio (30 ml Algebra to 60 ml tonic water).
2. To tease out Algebra’s rounder notes of caramel and vanilla, increase the ratio of tonic to coffee liqueur, up to 100 ml mixer for 30 ml Algebra.
3. Adding Algebra first to the ice-filled glass before topping it with tonic will yield a rich aromatic crema on top of the drink.
4. Reversing the order (pouring Algebra on top of the tonic) will create less foam and a more carbonated drink.
