Grown in the decomposed granite soils of the Polkadraai Hills, this 2019 Boschkloof Epilogue Syrah from Stellenbosch undergoes partial whole-bunch fermentation and maturation in French oak. Notes of black pepper and violets lead to a palate of dark berries, supported by a structured mouthfeel and a savoury finish. Serve alongside grilled red meats or aged cheeses.
