Danzig Goldwasser (literally \"Gold Water of Danzig\") is a historic herbal liqueur famously characterized by suspended flakes of genuine 22-carat gold leaf. First produced in 1598 in the city of Gdańsk (then Danzig), it is considered one of the oldest liqueurs in the world.
