Domaine Taupenot Merme, Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru, La Riotte, 2023
This highly precise 2023 vintage French red Burgundy wine is an elegant, linear Premier Cru Pinot Noir sourced from old vines in the iron-rich, stony soils of the Morey-Saint-Denis appellation. Expertly vinified by Domaine Taupenot-Merme, it wafts with a charming bouquet of brambly red berries, wild strawberry, and a touch of orange pith, leading into a medium-bodied, Chambolle-like palate defined by excellent tension and finely spun tannins.
