A blend of intense and aromatic rums, first matured in ex-American whiskey casks for 3 to 7 years. The unique aspect is that the final blend is then finished for an additional six months in heavily charred ex-bourbon oak barrels, which contributes significantly to its distinct flavor and the \"black barrel\" name.
