Poire William with a pear in the bottle
Often labeled as Poire Prisonnière (\"Imprisoned Pear\"), this spectacular eau-de-vie is made by attaching glass bottles to pear tree branches in the spring so the fruit grows and ripens directly inside the glass. Once harvested and cleaned, the bottle is filled with premium Williams pear brandy, which preserves the whole fruit and allows its aroma to intensify over time.
